St Teresa's School Celebrates Milestone: New Playground on the Horizon
In an exciting development for the St Teresa's School community, the much-anticipated dream of a new playground is about to become a reality. Thanks to the incredible efforts of the Friends of St Teresa's (FOSTA) team, the school is set to break ground in January and embark on the construction of a fabulous junior playground.
The journey towards this achievement has been nothing short of inspiring, with the FOSTA team spearheading a series of creative and engaging fundraising events that have brought the community together in support of the school's vision. From the charming Harvest Festival to the dazzling Spring Gala, the Friends of St Teresa's spared no effort in orchestrating events that not only raised funds but also fostered a sense of community.
The forthcoming playground is not just any ordinary space it has been designed to stimulate the senses, providing a rich and diverse play experience that goes beyond the traditional playground setup. It reflects the school's commitment to holistic education, recognising the importance of physical, cognitive, and sensory development in the early years of a child's life.
As we celebrate this momentous occasion, it is essential to express our deepest gratitude to the entire community. Whether it was purchasing raffle tickets, attending events, or making generous donations, each contribution has played a vital role in bringing us to this exciting juncture. A significant boost came from the Eastern & Central Community Trust (ECCT) and Trust House, whose generous contributions have played a pivotal role in pushing the fundraising efforts across the finish line.
St Teresa's School is not just a place of learning; it is a community that cares. The new playground is a testament to what can be achieved when a community unites for a common goal. It symbolises the spirit of collaboration, generosity, and a shared commitment to providing the best possible environment for our children to thrive. What a wonderful way to end another fabulous year at St Teresa’s School.
