St Teresa’s School After School Care & 

Holiday Programme Facilitator Vacancy

We are looking to recruit a caring, fun and reliable team member to supervise children at our after school care and/or holiday programme the Hub Club in 2026. This role can be combined or filled as two separate positions.

After School Care:

• Monday - Friday term time only

• 3pm - 6pm 

• $23.15 per hour

Holiday Programme:

• Monday - Friday

• 8 weeks per year school holidays

• 8 hours per day

• $23.15 per hour

Skills:

• Experience in caring for children.

• First aid qualification desirable but not essential - training will be provided.

• Professional attitude - reliable, punctual, follow procedures/protocols.

• Caring and enthusiastic manner - carry out tasks with energy, exhibit a positive attitude, have a patient, caring and sensitive outlook.

• Initiative and innovative mindset - ability to self-direct, willingness to try new approaches and activities to support and engage tamariki.

• Communication - ability to communicate effectively with whānau and staff, enjoys working with children and is responsive to their needs. 

Applicant MUST have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand and agree to a criminal record check.

We cannot consider applicants who are not already living in New Zealand. We cannot offer work visa sponsorship or assistance.

Only candidates with a satisfactory police check report will be considered for employment. We will do an MOJ check.
