Year 7/8 Classroom Teacher (with possible MUs)

St Teresa’s is a Catholic school with a big heart, educating learners from Years 1–8 in the Wairarapa. We are looking for an enthusiastic and fun, experienced classroom teacher to join our dedicated team as the Year 7/8 classroom teacher, from Term 3, 2026.

This is a special character position so the willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of this appointment.

The successful applicant will bring:

Confidence in literacy and mathematics teaching, and the ability to integrate inquiry and creativity across the curriculum.

Commitment to weaving te ao Māori and tikanga Māori into classroom life.
