St Teresa’s is a small Catholic school with a big heart, educating learners from Years 1–8 in the Wairarapa. We are looking for an enthusiastic and fun reception classroom teacher to join our team from Term 2, 2026. This is a non-tagged position. A condition of appointment is a willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school.
Strong classroom practice that engages and challenges all learners.
An enthusiastic and collaborative approach, with the ability to bring energy and joy to learning.
Relational strengths – building positive, respectful partnerships with students, staff, and whānau.
Confidence in structured literacy and mathematics teaching, and the ability to integrate inquiry and creativity across the curriculum.
